The Fjord Ventures Process

Every company creation process is unique.  As a general outline, however, the following illustrates the early stages of initiating a Fjord Venture:

 

• The basic business concept is brought to Fjord Ventures

 

• Extensive discussions take place between entrepreneurs, founders and Fjord Ventures experts

 

• If the decision is to go forward, a business plan will be developed with clear milestones

 

• Resources are assigned

 

• Supplemental IP may be licensed or written

 

• Additional funds may be raised

 

• Proof of concept and feasibility studies

 

• Establishment of a stand-alone organization

 

• Corporate Partnerships may be established

 

• Evaluation of exit strategies
